Michael Keaton's performance of Michael Keaton in "Birdman" is his most acclaimed film. The versatile actor is equally skilled in comedy as well as dramatic. He's also played a few romantic characters and appeared in several action thrillers throughout his career. As a teenager the actor began developing an interest in both acting as well as performing. Later, as a youngster, he attempted stand-up comedy. He was unsuccessful in his comedy career but this paved the path for his successful acting career. When he failed to become a successful comedian, he began working at an television station in a satellite as a television crew part-time. When he was working in the station when he realized the way he wanted to work was in front of the camera. He then managed to land an appearance on television and was in many episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor who soon gained a lot of attention on the television. He embarked on a film career with great goals and gained a lot of fame with his comedic roles. Additional recognition was received when he portrayed Batman's eponymous hero from Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he grew as an actor, and started to pursue direction and production. The 2013 Birdman film won him a number of awards and nominations.
